What’s included in a video editing package?
Each package includes core editing: cutting your raw footage, removing filler or awkward pauses, pairing it with music or sound design (if needed), and adding basic text, transitions, and formatting. Depending on your project, I can also include branded elements, captioning, thumbnail creation, or motion graphics for extra impact.
What do you need from me to get started?
To kick things off, I’ll send over an invoice—once that’s paid, we’re officially rolling. If you’re on a subscription plan with me, I’ll provide you with a dedicated Dropbox link where you can upload all your footage and materials. I also ask for any branding info you have—like colors, fonts, logos, or reference videos—so your final edit aligns with your visual identity. If you’re not sure what to include, don’t worry—I’ll guide you step-by-step.
How do I send you my content?
I use Dropbox and a temporary link on Frame.io. You’ll get a secure folder to drop all your footage, and I’ll walk you through organizing it so nothing gets missed. You don’t need any fancy tech—just an internet connection and your content files.
Can you work with phone footage, Zoom recordings, or livestreams?
Yes, absolutely. I’ve worked with everything from iPhone clips to 4K cameras to podcast recordings done on Zoom. As long as the content is clear and your message is strong, I can elevate it into something polished and professional.
How is pricing structured—hourly or per project?
Most of my work is project-based, so you know the cost up front. That way, you’re not being billed for time spent learning a new tool or handling tech hiccups. For ongoing clients or custom requests, I also offer hourly or retainer-based options based on selected packages.
Can you create content in both vertical and horizontal formats?
Definitely. I can format your video as vertical for TikTok, Reels, or Shorts—and also give you a horizontal version for YouTube or widescreen presentations. Just keep in mind that each additional format is priced separately, depending on the package you choose. Let me know where you plan to post, and I’ll make sure the content is optimized for each platform.
Do I get to request changes or revisions?
Yes! Every project includes 1–2 rounds of revisions (depending on your package), so we can fine-tune the look and feel until it’s exactly right. If we need to go beyond that, I offer additional revision rounds at a set hourly rate.
How long does it take to get my final edit?
Turnaround time depends on the complexity of the project, but standard reels or short videos typically take 3–5 business days. Longer YouTube episodes or multi-angle podcasts can take 7–10 days. I’ll always give you a clear timeline up front so there are no surprises.
